The Local Government Unit of Pitogo, Quezon, warmly welcomed the courtesy call of the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) – Pitogo Station, headed by the newly designated Acting Municipal Fire Marshal, FINSP ROY ARIEL O GUERRERO.

The visit aimed to strengthen collaboration and reaffirm the shared commitment to public safety, emergency preparedness, and fire prevention programs within the municipality. Mayor Dexter L. Sayat expressed his full support to the initiatives and programs of the BFP under the leadership of FINSP Guerrero.

The LGU looks forward to a stronger partnership with the BFP as they continue to serve and protect the people of Pitogo.

LOCAL SCHOOL BOARD (LSB) MEETING

A meeting of the Local School Board was held Today, attended by Public Schools District Supervisor Marilyn N. Permejo together with the members of the Local School Board. The meeting was conducted at MDRRMO Hall.

The agenda for the meeting included important matters concerning the education sector of the municipality, including but not limited to:

Updates on the Special Education Fund (SEF) utilization

Proposed fund realignment for SEF 2025

School infrastructure needs and development priorities

Other matters relevant to the improvement of basic education services in the locality

PSDS Marilyn N. Permejo shared insights and updates from the Department of Education, highlighting current challenges and proposals that require the support of the Local Government Unit. Productive discussions followed, with valuable input from board members, ensuring that strategic decisions are aligned with the educational needs of the municipality.

The meeting concluded with a renewed commitment from all members to uphold quality education through collaborative efforts and effective allocation of resources.
